A tourist visiting the Uffizi Museum in Florence, Italy is looking towards an open door taking photographs. The light streams through the open door and illuminates part of a figure of a guard looking towards the visitor.
Artist Statement
I find my work is constantly evolving. It changes with life’s experiences, journeys, teaching, and personal relationships. I am blessed to have reached a stage in my life where I am able to combine my creative journey with my love of travel. This combination has provided me with a wider perspective, refining the essence of life, experiences, exchanges, encounters. I find myself analyzing all that I view and how I would render it - find the subject matter's important components and content. I am thankful for the ability to immerse myself this way and give focus to my life's journey. Creativity is more about the journey than the product.
